Pastor Support Program

Over the last few years, we have been working with one of our partners to provide for poor and financially struggling pastors.

A major part of this work has been to supply churches, pastors (and potential pastors), with our MicroSD cards, containing thousands of Chinese Christian resources to teach and develop leaders and to help congregations worship and grow in sound doctrine.

Now we are doing even more...

Now we have stepped up to provide select pastors with some financial support. These pastors are mainly located in rural areas of China where the economy is very weak but where the Church is growing rapidly. And because of this growth, pastors are in short supply. 

The pastors we help are passionate about spreading the Gospel, and eager to disciple those they have already led to Christ. But many of these pastors lack the resources and training required. In fact, there are few places where they could train.

When we assist house church pastors and leaders, it is to increase their ability to successfully pastor and grow the churches they have planted. We select those living where conditions are basic and there is no money available from their small congregations to support a pastor. Our financial assistance enables them to reduce the number of hours they must work in other employment, in order to feed and clothe their families.  Our gift gives them more time to outreach, and to nurture and tend their 'flock'. For those working a full-time job, just US$250 per month allows them to reduce their work hours. US$500 per month would mean they only need to work part-time.

Bicycle Transportation

Even today, a common form of transportation in China is bicycles. We have therefore also been able to provide the pastors we support with bicycles - enabling those in remote areas to travel from village to village to share the Gospel and plant churches.

Support through CCSM provides local Chinese pastors with the tools and resources they need to spread the Gospel and make disciples among the thousands coming to Christ daily.
